On the 27th of March, 2020, the major esports organization Lazarus announced their return to the Apex Legends Global Series with a brand new European Roster. As more online tournaments are set to commence, the team looks to be the beginning of a new wave of organizations entering into the Apex competitive scene.

The new roster comes after the departure of the former team in late 2019. The roster now features players such as James “smythj” Trygg, Rogier “RogerBoger” Jongen, and Toby “Anrchxy” Wells. The organization also announced the signing of a new Apex Legends team coach, that being Jessie “Aldgia” Barger. The team forms after the most recent online tournament, where they made it to the finals and competed against the top teams in the EU region.

The team is sure to make waves as it was only formed within five days before the online tournament and performed at the highest of levels. Their current performance, coupled with the backing of an experienced Coach, is sure to exceed the expectations the team has for itself. Now all the spectators can do is wait until the next tournament to see how they perform.
