T1 release Apex Legends players Zerg and Assert

On Monday the 2nd of March, the organization T1 released two out of their three Apex Legends players and has appeared to fully pull out of the Apex Legends competitive scene. Haydin “Zerg” Thomas and Dylan “Assert” Romo were part of the three-man roster that was rounded out by Kurtis “Kurt” Gallo.
Although the future of Zerg and Assert is unknown, Kurt announced that he would remain on the team as a content creator for the organization. The team had early success in the scene and was looked at as one of the top teams in North America. That team consisted of Zerg, Kurt, and BCJ. After some poor tournament performances, the team decided to replace BCJ with Assert; hoping to see some better results.
As the team entered into the first ALGS Online Qualifiers, most people had high hopes that T1 was a shoe in for the upcoming Major. Unfortunately, though, they did not make the cut and fell out of the tournament. Afterward, the team took some time to evaluate the situation and the decision was made to release the team. Unfortunately we have no information on if T1 will form a new North American roster or stick with the Korean Team.
