Team Reciprocity announce departure from Apex Legends competitive scene
written by BeanAnalysis 3 months ago
The organization known as Team Reciprocity announced with great regret that they would be releasing their roster that had been with the team since October of last year. Due to some unforeseen financial fallout due to the current global pandemic of COVID-19, the organization had to downsize and the decision to release its Apex Legends team was made public on March 19th, 2020.
The roster consisted of Jack “WACKO” Middleton, Matthieu “Oraxe” Ribiere, and Herman “Nesh” Kobrin. They had decent performances in their competitive tournaments, placing 3rd in the GLL Apex Legends Series tournament. They also qualified for the ALGS Arlington Major before it was postponed a week before the event. The organization said that they weren’t saying goodbye forever, but only time will tell at this point.
The organization had nothing but kind words for the players. The players also made sure everyone knew that the community knew that they were well taken care of. As we enter what some call a rough patch in the Apex Legends competitive scene, we will likely see more teams back out due to financial fallout. But the talent of the roster that was released is sure to bring the attention of many other teams looking to dive into the scene.
